Melamchi Water Diversion Through Tunnel is Resumed

Melamchi river water  diversion is resumed from 15th January 2024   to supply in Kathmandu Valley after necessary cleaning and repair and maintenance works.  Last  year the temporary water diversion    after monsoon was resumed from 8th  November 2022 and continued   to 23rd  June 2023. The  structures   used  for the temporary diversion   were found buried again  by the heavy flood of  28th and 29th  August  of 2023.
